Consultation For Licensed Therapists Specializing in IFS, SE & Trauma Therapy

CONSULTATION FOR LICENSED THERAPISTS

You’re licensed and want to continue engaging in lifelong learning, unlearning, and relearning.

I offer consultation worldwide to licensed therapists.

I also offer supervision to associate clinicians in Washington State.

I’m really good at four things:

  1. Helping therapists process and explore difficult and, challenging client cases that evoke strong counter transference/emotions/feelings/thoughts so they can do better client work and to protect themselves from burn out/compassion fatigue,

  2. Helping therapists integrate and work more relationally, somatically, and experientially no matter their theoretical orientation/modality,

  3. Helping therapists strengthen and refine their skills and conceptualization in trauma and dissociation,

  4. Helping therapists be more active, direct, and empathically confrontational as a way to help clients change, growth, and transform from their defenses/protectors/anxieties/shame rather than letting them passively vent the whole session (when traditional therapy hasn’t helped).

You’re seeking consultation to:

  • Become more skilled and effective at working with trauma and its impacts on clients

    • Attachment, development, complex, racial, sexual assault, childhood, abuse, neglect, etc.

  • Become more skilled and effective working with more challenging client presentations and symptoms

    • High anxiety, resistance/protectors/defenses, intellectualizers/rationalizers, lack of emotional awareness and sensations, etc.

  • Learn and refine your skills in EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and/or Somatic Experiencing (SE) and how to blend these modalities together for CPTSD/complex trauma

    • From an IFS level 2 & IFIO trained therapist (currently in my 3rd/last/Advanced year of SE training)

  • Learn and refine your skills in AEDP

    • From an AEDP level 2 trained therapist

  • Learn integrative therapy

    • Ways to integrate a wide range of therapeutic modalities (EFT, EMDR, CBT, EFT, SE, IFS) into your practice

    • How to blend EMDR, IFS & SE together for complex trauma/CPTSD

  • Become better at retaining clients

    • To decrease drop out, attrition, etc. through strengthening relational skills, core counseling skills, and exploring the common factors

  • Review challenging client cases

    • As it relates to trauma, grief, high anxiety, couples/dyads, and multicultural issues

  • Process countertransference and intense feelings

    • You have about your clients to ensure quality client care and these feelings do not directly interfere with your work

  • Start a private practice in Washington State and sustain it through marketing, branding, etc.

  • Prevent burn out and/or address burn out, compassion fatigue, and/or secondary trauma

  • Get another perspective and revitalize your passion for clinical work

  • For ongoing professional growth and development
